  • Why Pre-Installation Preparation Is Essential

  • Commercial cola machines are not plug-and-play home appliances. The quality of power, drainage, and space preparation directly determines the stable operation, service life, and daily maintenance convenience of the equipment. Many stores experience tripping, water leakage, and overheating shutdowns after installation, all rooted in "installing the machine first and fixing conditions later". This article takes Yuanyin series commercial cola machines as an example to provide executable standard preparation plans.
  • Power Preparation: Independence, Grounding, Distance

  • Parameter Requirements
    Voltage: AC 220V ±10%, 50Hz
    Current: Rated 3.5A, peak startup approx. 6A
    Socket: 10A three-hole grounded socket (compliant with GB 2099.1)
    Distance: Equipment power cord is 1.5 meters long, socket should be within 1.5 meters behind the machine
    Prohibited Items
    Using ungrounded two-hole sockets
    Sharing the same circuit with fryers, ice makers, or large freezers (recommend independent 16A circuit breaker)
    Extending with ordinary household power strips (2.5mm² sheathed wire direct connection is allowed, but must be done by an electrician)

  • Yuanyin Default Drainage Design
    All Yuanyin commercial cola machines (Share Cool, Jianbo series) use gravity drainage into a drip tray:
    Tray located at the front bottom of the machine, capacity approx. 2.8L
    Wastewater sources: Minor splashes during dispensing, pipeline cleaning, melted ice condensation
    It is recommended to manually empty the tray when the water level approaches the upper limit

    Automatic Drainage Modification Plan
    Locate the overflow interface behind the drip tray (12mm diameter pagoda connector, sealed with a plug by default)
    Remove the plug and connect a 12mm inner diameter transparent PVC hose
    Run the hose down the back of the machine into a floor drain or drain pipe, maintaining a slope of more than 2%
    The hose outlet must not be submerged in water to avoid siphon backflow
    Special Solution Without Floor Drain
    Prepare a 20L lidded plastic bucket, connect the hose to the bucket, and place a submersible pump (automatic water level start) in the bucket to pump water to the sink.

  • Heat Dissipation Requirements (Mandatory)
    Left side ≥ 10cm
    Right side ≥ 10cm
    Rear ≥ 15cm (due to pipeline and valve depth)
    Top ≥ 30cm (hot air outlet)
    Consequence of violating heat dissipation requirements: Compressor operating temperature rises, easily triggering overheating protection in summer, requiring more than 30 minutes to resume operation.

  • Problem Phenomenon: Power trips when plugged in
    Possible Cause: Circuit overload or leakage
    Solution: Run a separate 16A circuit, check grounding

    Possible Cause: No overflow pipe connected or high dispensing volume
    Solution: Modify to automatic drainage

  • Misconception 1: Thinking cola machines can be placed anywhere like water dispensers

    FAQ
    Q1: I don't want to empty water manually, can I drain directly to the sewer?
    A: Yes. Connect a hose from the drip tray overflow port to the floor drain or drain pipe. Make sure the hose is not stepped on or bent.
    Q2: There is no floor drain in the store, only a mop sink. Can I drain there?
    A: Yes. The hose can be extended above the sink and secured to prevent falling off. However, the sink height must not be higher than the overflow port, otherwise water cannot drain.
    Q3: The power source is a bit far, can I use a 10-meter power strip?
    A: Not recommended. Power strips increase contact resistance and can easily overheat and cause fire with long-term use. It is best to ask an electrician to install a socket within 1.5 meters of the machine.
    Q4: Space is limited, only 5cm clearance on each side. What will happen?
    A: Poor heat dissipation may cause frequent shutdown protection in summer and slow dispensing. If expansion is really impossible, install an exhaust fan on the back to assist heat dissipation.
    Q5: Is installation charged? Does Yuanyin provide on-site installation?
    A: Yuanyin equipment does not include free installation from the factory. However, we provide detailed graphic/video guidance, and have cooperative installation technicians in provincial capitals nationwide (paid service, approx. $28-$56 per unit). It is recommended that store electricians or decorators install themselves according to the preparation conditions in this document, which is very simple.
