Yuanyin Cola Machine – Nozzle Cleaning Procedure
Note: The nozzle needs regular cleaning to avoid issues such as syrup residue hardening affecting taste, residual syrup spoilage inside the valve nozzle due to weather conditions that may impact flavor or attract insects. This ensures stable equipment operation and beverage taste. The specific steps are as follows:
Removing the Nozzle: Hold the valve nozzle with the crotch of your hand (between thumb and index finger). Turn it counterclockwise, then gently pull and tug to completely detach the entire nozzle from the valve port. Then separate the inner and outer components of the nozzle, keeping them distinct for separate cleaning. Apply moderate force during operation to avoid damaging the nozzle or the valve port interface.
Soaking in Warm Water: Place the separated inner and outer nozzle parts into warm water. Soak for 5–10 minutes, or long enough to fully soften any hardened syrup inside the nozzle. Focus on thoroughly softening residual syrup in the inner nozzle filter layer and filter holes, ensuring that subsequent cleaning can completely remove residue.
Rinsing and Cleaning: After the syrup inside the nozzle has been sufficiently softened, clean the inner and outer nozzle parts separately. For the outer nozzle, wipe the surface with a clean towel or gently brush the interface and crevices with a soft brush to remove surface syrup residue and impurities. For the inner nozzle, focus on cleaning the filter layer that contains the filter holes. Gently brush the filter layer surface with a soft brush and clear each filter hole individually to avoid blockages that could affect beverage flow and taste. Then repeatedly rinse both the inner and outer nozzles with warm water until no residue or odor remains.
Reinstalling the Nozzle: After cleaning, reassemble the inner and outer nozzle parts according to the corresponding structure noted during disassembly. Then, align the round opening of the nozzle upward with the valve port interface. Gently press the nozzle into place, then rotate it to lock it securely into the slot. Gently pull on the nozzle to confirm it will not detach, ensuring a tight seal between the nozzle and the valve port with no looseness or leakage.
Helpful Tip: Adjust cleaning frequency based on usage. It is recommended to briefly rinse the nozzle surface after each use and periodically perform a thorough disassembly, soaking, and cleaning according to the above steps. In hot and humid weather, increase cleaning frequency. During daily use, pay special attention to the unobstructed condition of the inner nozzle filter holes to avoid blockages that could affect beverage taste and to extend the nozzle’s service life.
